BBA Students Gain Practical Business Insights at Nebico and DDC, Balaju Industrial Estate

On Shrawan 23, BBA students had the exciting opportunity to visit Nebico Ltd. at Balaju Industrial Estate. The visit provided a firsthand look at the production of biscuits and confectionery, from raw material handling to automated packaging. Students observed the importance of quality control, branding, and supply chain management, gaining practical insights into how business and management concepts are applied in a real-world setting. The interaction with the company representatives helped students understand how strategy, innovation, and consistency drive a company’s success.

Later, the students visited Dairy Development Corporation (DDC), a leading government-owned dairy enterprise. They toured the milk processing, packaging, and distribution units, learning how DDC manages its supply chain, partnerships with farmers, and product quality on a large scale. The visit highlighted the balance between social responsibility and operational efficiency, giving students a clear perspective on operations management and logistics in a public-sector organization. Both visits enriched the students’ understanding of business practices beyond the classroom.
